Ankle and Foot

From sprained ankles and plantar fasciitis to forefoot pain and post-fracture stiffness. Accurate diagnosis up front prevents the classic 'I've had this for six months' trajectory.

Ankle and Foot Physiotherapy in Johor

The ankle and foot together contain 28 bones and more than 30 joints in two palm-sized regions.

The mechanical complexity is why so many patients bounce between providers with the same unresolved complaint - the diagnostic possibilities are wider than most people realise.

Our Johor caseload has doubled here since 2024, driven largely by the pickleball wave and the continuing growth of running at Iskandar Puteri parkrun and similar events.

Broad diagnostic groups

  • Ankle: lateral sprains, medial sprains, high (syndesmotic) sprains, tendinopathies.
  • Heel / back of foot: Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, heel-pad pain, Sever's in adolescents.
  • Mid-foot: tarsal tunnel, plantar-fascia mid-insertion, navicular stress reactions.
  • Forefoot: metatarsalgia, Morton's neuroma, sesamoiditis, turf toe.
  • Nails and skin: out of our scope - podiatry referral.
  • Post-fracture / post-op: structured stage-based rehab.

When is physiotherapy not enough for Ankle and Foot physiotherapy in Johor?
