Physiotherapist roles across Johor
PhysioJohor is a physiotherapist-led home-visit network. We're looking for registered physios who want freelance or part-time work on their own terms — not another fixed 9-to-6.
Choose how you work: freelance home visits, part-time clinic sessions, or mobile cover for an outer district. A practising physio reads every application personally.
Who we're hiring
We match Johor patients to home-visit physiotherapists by condition, location and language. As demand grows across Johor Bahru and the outer districts, we need more registered physiotherapists to take on that work — freelance, part-time or area-based.
This is genuinely flexible work. You decide how many cases or sessions you take, and we agree the pay before you start. We only send you cases within your scope, and we expect the same honesty back: tell us the moment something is outside what you can safely treat.
Every physiotherapist who treats a PhysioJohor patient must be registered with the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH) and working within physiotherapy scope. We verify this before your first case — it protects patients and it protects your registration.
Three ways to work with us
Each role is genuinely different. Pick the one that fits your life and read the full details.
Freelance home-visit physiotherapist
Choose your own patients, hours and areas. We match, you treat, you get paid per visit.
RM50–90/hour
Part-time clinic physiotherapist
Fixed weekly sessions at a partner clinic — structured, supervised, steady hours.
RM40–70/hour
Mobile physiotherapist for outer Johor districts
Cover an under-served district near you. Fewer clinics, more patients who need home care.
RM50–95/hour
Why physios work with us
You set your hours
Take as much or as little work as your calendar allows. No fixed shifts unless you choose the clinic route.
Honest, upfront pay
Rates are agreed before you accept a case or session — per visit or per hour, never vague.
Screened, matched cases
Cases arrive with the condition, location and preferred times. You accept only what fits your scope.
A physio reads every message
You deal with a practising physiotherapist, not a call centre or a chatbot.
Pay transparency
Indicative — what you actually earn depends on your experience and registration. Freelance and mobile work is paid per completed visit; clinic sessions are paid per hour. Figures below are what the physiotherapist earns.
| Role | Indicative pay | How it's paid |
|---|---|---|
| Freelance home-visit physiotherapist | RM50–90/hour (≈ RM70–150 per completed home visit) | Per visit |
| Part-time clinic physiotherapist | RM40–70/hour | Per hour |
| Mobile physiotherapist for outer Johor districts | RM50–95/hour (≈ RM80–160 per visit plus travel allowance) | Per visit |
Indicative — the actual figure depends on your experience and registration status. Freelance/part-time is paid per completed visit or per hour, agreed before you start.
How to apply
Send a WhatsApp or email with your registration status, years of experience and the areas you can cover. Attach or follow up with your CV. We reply personally.
Questions physiotherapists ask
Do I need to be MOH-registered to work with PhysioJohor?
Yes. Every physiotherapist who treats a patient must be registered with the Malaysian Ministry of Health and working within physiotherapy scope. We verify this before your first case.
Is this freelance, part-time or full-time?
Freelance and part-time. You can take freelance home visits, commit to fixed part-time clinic sessions, or cover an outer district on a mobile basis — whichever fits. There is no full-time salaried role.
How and when do I get paid?
Home visits and mobile work are paid per completed visit; clinic sessions per hour. The rate is agreed before you start, so there are no surprises.
Can I combine this with a hospital or clinic job?
Yes. Most of our physios do. You set your own availability, so PhysioJohor work fits around your other commitments.
I'm a fresh graduate — is there a role for me?
Yes. The part-time clinic route gives you a supervised, structured start with colleagues and equipment on hand, which suits new graduates better than solo home visits.
